The Manor of Ojai is accepting applications for compassionate, dependable, and courteous Caregivers to work in our Independent and Assisted Living facility located in Ojai, CA.
To be considered for a position you must have a least one year of caregiver experience in a licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE), have current FBI/DOJ clearance with no criminal record, proof of current First-Aid training, medical clearance with TB testing within the past 12 months, have proof of U.S. Citizenship or Visa to work in the US, and be able pass a drug test prior to employment.
You will be asked to perform a variety of tasks as a caregiver, including but not limited to assisting residents with ADLs; transferring, bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene. There will be some cleaning and laundry work to be accomplished during your shift, daily.
To be able to perform these duties you must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach freely and assist clients with standing, walking, and getting to and from bed, chairs, etc. You must be able to speak, read, and write the english language.
Salary will depend upon experience level and shift worked.
